Warnings
Decamark is known to dissapear when it's caught and will take the Pokeball used.Captured Decamarks have been known to cause black-outs under certain circumstances - often when being sent out of its Pokeball when not around other Pokemon. They may also can cause visual hallucinations of objects repeating in certain cases.
These issues may not go away but often will if the Decamark is modified artificually using a specialized PC and there are tools available to do this with Decamarks because of their popularity.
Physiology
Decamark is quatrapedal vaguely resembling a Bulbasaur with a question mark pattern on its face. They are known to cary a certain item, simply called Octomarks for how it appears in PC systems, which they refuse to part with. Trainers can take this item off of a Decamark but the Decamark will not allow a trainer to get rid of it. This item also appears as a question mark and when held by a Decamark embeds itself into the Decamark's back. It's believed to be a biological part of the Decamark in some way.
Decamark variations can include slight differences in the type, name, or species, but they'll usually all look the same. The biggest difference comes with what moves a Decamark will learn - some will learn moves but many may also not have any moves and can only struggle and others may have the moveset of a different Pokemon.
Obtaining
Decamark encountered naturally are more likely to dissapear from parties once caught, so there are a few better ways to obtain one than relying on anomalies.Artificial glitches and creating one from a dummy Pokemon are the easiest way to obtain one and with the least amount of risks. These glitch Pokemon respond the best to being created from a dummy Pokemon and this method results in the least amount of issues, and because of this they are one of the more popular glitch Pokemon and the one recommended for beginners to attempt with.
Creating a distortion around an egg or breeding Pokemon and proceeding to hatch it is another option but is not guarenteed to result in a Decamark and these Decamarks are more likely to cause issues.
Raising
They are hard to raise for battle or simlar labor because of how hard it is to raise thier level and because of how some lack moves. They often respond well to rare candies, but attempting to raise one's level the traditional way is very difficult. As a result they're usually used for companionship or more visual contests. They often respond positively to being around other Pokemon if they can be safey sent out, and for Decamarks which cause blackouts when sent out they do not do this around other Pokemon.
